Death By Drunk Driving vs. The War In Iraq

I have posted about this before, but thought I would bring the point home using the Memorial Day weekend as an example.

I could not find this years statistics, but in 2003 there were about 120 deaths nationally that were directly caused by alcohol. We can safely say that number would be close, up or down, to what happened over this last weekend, unless something miraculous happened.

In contrast, two soldiers died over this last weekend.

Now, someone please tell me where the real crisis is and what we are doing about it?
