Earth Day 2008

Happy Earth Day everyone. I wish I could say I have no problem with a day that celebrates our planet, but some folks can’t leave well enough alone.

Former US Vice President, Al Gore, believes little has changed (since his movie came out) where it counts and the situation is even more urgent.

What else would you expect from Al?

But in other areas…

Late Freeze Destroys Some Valley Crops

A little bit of local news, but it has been unseasonably cold and windy around here.

Climate Change Alarmism: Lack of Sunspots Heralds New Little Ice Age?

And Al said there was a consensus? Not from where I am standing.

What we know is that we actually know very little about this planet and the sun. We keep trying to make predictions, but we still are having problems predicting tomorrows weather. The only thing I can say for certain is that there are way too many people on this planet and we have no tangible solutions for when things start running out, whether it be oil, water or whatever.

Maybe Al should be focusing on that instead of his Global Warming witch hunt.
